The Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands has been a major funder of the Island Lake Ampitheatre, supporting it from concept through to construction in 2017. We are continuing our commitment to assist with the completion of the amphitheatre. Needs include landscaped seating and a dedicated sound system.
Habitat for Humanity has recently secured land to proceed with its first build in Dufferin County. Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands is dedicated to helping them build homes for families in need of long-term, permanent housing in our area. Rotary and Habitat for Humanity are also partners on an international level.
Our local Indigenous organization, Dufferin County Cultural Resource Centre (DCCRC), is creating a traditional Medicine Wheel garden at Bravery Park in Orangeville as a healing place of reflection for soldiers, veterans and their families. Each quadrant of the medicine wheel will be populated with sacred and medicinal plants.
Your participation in Taste of Autumn will raise funds for these three projects, as well as other local and international projects supported by The Rotary Club of Orangeville Highlands Foundation during the year. If you are not able to attend our event, please consider a donation, sponsorship, or contributing an item to our live and silent auctions. Email email@example.com for more details.
